Call of duty/tony hawk games

Now let me get this out of the way I grew up with these games so I like these games. But come on people really call of duty isn't bad and neither are the tony hawk games. If you are going to complain about games that don't change that much here's a list : elder scrolls games, sport games, Mario games, legend of Zelda games, battlefield, and many many more. Plus here is the big thing if tony hawk pro skater never existed skate would not be as popular and same thing with call of duty and battlefield and other shooters.

The dark knight rises SPOILER ALERT

Wow this movie. this movie was okay but nothing to special. As me and my friend said coming out of the movie that was okay. We even gave a rating but if you have actually been to this blog before I don't do that till the end. If I had a choice I would watch batman begins because it is for the most part the same movie. Okay plot Bruce Wayne hasn't been in the batman suit or seen at all in 8 years or months (I really forget) since the last movie. The people of Gotham are celebrating Harvey dent day where they celebrate the lie Gordon told the city and the world that he was killed by batman also in the last movie we discover in filler by... officer plot convenience that Gordon's wife divorced him and took the kids and he has about one year before they will fire him make him resign (I also forget that to but it's okay it leads to nothing) the event is being held at Wayne manor then we see Miranda last name here(god I should have posted this after I saw the movie not a day later) talking to deckler a person after the Wayne Corp also at the party is Selina Kyle AKA catwoman. Okay you know what if you haven't seen this movie why are you here okay so skip the plot what I thought. This movie (to me) is very forgettable I mean I could tell you the major plot points but everything else was forgotten. This movie was a 7.5 in my opinion is it good yes but plot holes over take it like how did batman get to Gotham even though they closed off every entrance to gotham. Did they have a kid who looked like a boy be in the prison then change it to a girl in the end. Why did the doctor and another prisoner not know that the girl was the one who escaped and said bane did EVEN though he lived in the prison for years until they broke him out. 7.5 good but not great.

Metal gear solid the movie?

Now for the big fans of the series this would come to no shock but to a casual I know the story and played the console games gamer (like myself) this came to a shock to me. Apparently in 2006 at E3 creator of the metal gear series Hideo Kojima stated that he gained a contract with some people in Hollywood to make a film of the game and it would be filmed in Alaska. where the game took place.

In the next two years it would be revealed that Sony pictures was going to be involved in producing the film along with Michael De Luca who also produced the second Austin powers movie and boogie night and that Kurt Wimmer who wrote and directed ultraviolet and equilibrium to write and direct this film. But was later stated not to be involved with the film and was one of the first of many people they went to. Another note is that the English voice of solid snake David Hayter submitted a take for the movie and a script to Konami but it was rejected.

Another interesting story is that Christian Bale stated that he was interested in the role in June of 2008. But a year later he denied talking about a film version of the game and gave a confusing answer whether has even played the series at all. In 2009 Jeremy Bolt producer of the 6 resident evil movie afterlife and director Paul W.S. Anderson are interested in doing an adaptation of the film for the big screen. Now the project might not come out and or it will.
Now for my opinion why do metal gear solid first why not the original Japanese version of metal gear and then work your way to metal gear solid because believe it or not people might get confused about certain people in this film( I.E big boss and "McDonald miller") and really who will go see this movie fans of the series who know all of the backstory yes but then you have people who want to see an action movie and MOVIE CRITICS who might have never looked at the series. so what I think they should do is take the original game make it HD take out all of the gameplay moments and add new cutscenes and sell it as a DVD. I mean that's what they did for most of mgs 4.

Bane

Well since the new batman movie dark knight rises is coming out soon I will I into detail about the origin of bane( note I have not looked at the DC comics reboot so I will talk about the well known origin) so lets begin. Bane was the son of Edmund Dorrance who had been a revolutionary and escaped the court system of santa prisca. bane being born in the prison of peña Dura and due to the corrupt government made him serve his farther's sentence. Which taught him many things like to fight and street knowledge. Two interesting stories are that he committed his first murder when he was 8 who did he kill a criminal who wanted to know about the prison and that he had a teddy bear who was called Osito and could be considered his only friend in the prison which had a hole in it so he could hide a knife to kill any one who bullied him.

Then in his early adult years(note I am only guessing this but he could have been a teen when this happened.) he claimed himself the king of Peña Dura which the prison's guards took note of.
Eventually they forced him to become a test subject of the mysterious drug venom which had killed all previous subjects to it. At first the drug nearly killed Bane but he survived and found that venom helped increase his physical strength but he would have to take it every 12 hours by tubes directly into his brain or he would get side effects that would debilitate him.

Now that the origin is done it is time to give a verdict. I honestly like bane as a villain I mean he could have been portrayed as a big muscled idiot but they made him smart and powerful at the same time. One of the most famous stories involving bane is the man who broke the bat where he breaks batman's back and takes control of Gotham due to fear. This lead to batman needing to find his replacement Jean-Paul valley who would go on to be Azrael and I might review his character sometime later. But overall I find bane a good villain and a great example of how smart he is strangely in the same story when thinking of how to beat the bat he knows going head to head against the dark knight would be dumb and get him sent back to prison so he goes to Arkham and breaks the walls and lets all the villains in the asylum out to go on a rampage through Gotham. Which of course gets batman exhausted then bane strikes. Batman after catching them all goes back to the batcave to meet none other than bane who had found out who was really under the mask and breaks batman's back as stated above. So verdict 9 out of 10 because just me liking him doesn't mean he is always used correctly in stories.
